Is your MSP ready for outsourced sales?
An MSP is ready for outsourced sales when it has an offer it can deliver, capacity for more customers, people available for technical decisions, and the financial ability to sustain the work. Headcount alone does not establish readiness.
Make the offer specific
Describe the customer you serve, the problem you solve, the service boundaries, and the geography you cover. A sales partner needs a clear starting point, not a promise to provide every possible technology service to every business.
Confirm capacity before adding demand
Identify what another contract would require from implementation, service delivery, account ownership, and support. Be honest about onboarding limits and specialist skills. More meetings are not useful if the team cannot fulfill the resulting work.
Name a technical decision-maker
Someone must validate requirements, approve scope and pricing, and answer questions during the sales process. Agree a practical response cadence. Escencion supports the commercial process, but should not commit your team to an unapproved technical solution.
Confirm commercial fit directly
Escencion’s partner audience is established US MSPs and MSSPs with recurring customers, a qualified technical team, and at least $500,000 in annual revenue. The initial outbound audience is generally 2–50 employees. Revenue is confirmed through qualification, not guessed from that employee range.
Agree a shared view of progress
Define qualified completed appointments, ownership of follow-up, and the evidence needed to advance an opportunity. Review whether meetings occurred and what the next action is. Avoid treating interest, a proposal, or a verbal positive response as a signed customer.
Use the fit call to resolve the unknowns
Bring your ideal customer profile, delivery constraints, and the parts of sales that keep falling back to the owner. The aim is to decide whether a managed sales service can help within the responsibilities and commercial terms both teams can support.
THE ESCENCION OFFER
A managed sales process for your MSP or MSSP.
Start with the $997 30-Day Performance Pilot plus approved lead data at actual cost. Target two qualified, completed appointments within 30 days of campaign launch. If delivered, continue at $4,800/month afterward. Closing commissions are negotiated separately.
If the pilot target is missed, no additional pilot retainer is owed and continuation is optional. This is not a refund promise, and approved data costs still apply.
