How to Pilot AI Marketing With a Small or Midsize Team

November 05, 2026•2 min read

When the person who sells the work also approves the website, a marketing pilot has to earn its place on the calendar. Pick one job that comes up often enough to test. Updating service details on three pages is a better first assignment than asking an AI agent to bring in more business without saying how.

Choose a change you can check

Imagine a regional installer that adds Saturday service at one location. Its operations lead knows the hours, but the service page, location page and inquiry form still disagree. Give the agent the approved hours and the three links. Ask it to prepare the edits and flag any wording that could promise Saturday appointments elsewhere.

One person can own the job and approve it. If you have a marketing coordinator and branch managers, have each branch confirm its own hours and let the coordinator publish. Agree on one place to record exceptions so nobody has to work out which reply in an email chain is final.

Count the work that comes back to your desk

For the next few changes, note how long a reviewer spends checking the draft, how many facts need correction, and whether an old detail survives on another page. Compare that with a similar update your team handled on its own. A faster draft is useful only if checking it does not create a second job.

If the facts stay accurate and reviews get easier, add another location or service. If every draft comes back for the same missing detail, fix the instructions before expanding. Bring one recent update to a consultation: it gives you and the Escencion team a specific job to assess together.

Put this into practice

Bring your current campaign, website, or lead follow up process. We can help you choose which part of the work to hand off first.
